Information Technology Governance

Executive
Our increasing reliance on computerised systems has reached the point where Information Technology is now crucial to the continued success of wide ranging and significant business and organisational objectives.

This critical dependency, together with initiatives such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the recent UK Company Law Reform Bill, has given rise to a need to build the Governance frameworks in which IT may be seen to meet requirements. To maximise stakeholder value and in some instances to prevent prosecution, senior executives must commission the policies, structures and processes that demonstrate to both internal and external audtors that their IT organisations:-

Promote Strategic Alignment,
Create Business Value,
Manage Risk and Regulatory Compliance, and
Measure Technical Efficiency and Effectiveness.

ITG helps to develop the models that enable IT Governance and are specialists in the technical performance evaluation of new IT systems.
