ITG working with the Project Management Internationl division of International Computers Limited (ICL) was assigned to assist Postbank (NZ) banking clerks and their management in a decision regarding the suitability of ICL's Bankmaster system.

Bankmaster was a fully-integrated accounting, transaction handling, customer service and management reporting system which reflected the needs of all types of financial institutions. It was a core system for banking with additional modules being made available for specific organisational requirements.

Advise and assistance was offered to senior banking staff to help determine the acceptance testing strategy with particular reference to their involvement in migration and new system take-on.

ITG enforced acceptance testing entry criteria for ICL Bankmaster releases and established a small team to provide the acceptance test platform. This team also provided the necessary support for banking staff to undertake business application acceptance and regression tests.
